Picture after picture, all we get is a simplistic image centered in the middle, most are just designs in an oval or circle shape with thick black lines separating the colors. I APPRECIATE THE NEW FEATURES BUT "PAINTING GAMES" ARE ALL ABOUT THE IMAGES! I mean no disrespect to this developer with my rating, and I appreciate that this developer finally added a couple of new features, but in the end, it's still a painting game that doesn't allow you to paint the entire scene. I tend to miss out those images that are more cartoon-like and stick to the real images. I often start at the highest number in a picture and work backwards, just to mix things up. Not bothered if its a brush or just the cursor either. I do care that I can change the background colour to make missing parts easier to see. I find it distracting to know there are still 13 parts I can't find. I don't care how many pieces of a colour are left or how many I have to paint in the whole image. There's no realism in a psychedelic cat, fish, bird or some other poor creature made to look like an explosion in a paint shop. I much prefer real-life pictures, landscapes or seascapes being my particular favourites.
However, these multi-coloured images do nothing for me.

For the most part I enjoy these games there is a real sense of achievement when you find that last tiny patch of colour to finish the painting. Numbers is a glossy and elegant number crunching application that doesn't rival Excel for most business needs but certainly looks better and is easier to use for the average user.Unrealistic images. Charts can be displayed in 2D and 3D although if you import and export to Excel, the formatting may not come out exactly as you intended. Moving charts and tables simply by dragging and dropping them is easy and you can even add photos to spreadsheets. There are also sliders related to formulas as well that allow you to speculate what would happen if certain values were changed either way. Numbers isn't as intimidating for first time users as Excel and has lots of tables and formula suggestions to help do the hard work for you. The way you can present your data in general has also been enhanced with new tools to brighten up data with a new interactive column, bar, scatter, and bubble charts.
Apple has also unified working with Numbers between OS X and iOS, with a new unified file format that works seamlessly on both. Also, anyone with the link to a spreadsheet will always have access to it and be able to edit it in iCloud with Numbers for iCloud. There are also lots of impressive templates for home budgeting, mortgage calculations, checklists and more.Īpple has put a lot of focus on sharing in this release, enabling you to share work via Mail, Messages, Twitter and Facebook. It's easier to manage multiple spreadsheets too with the tabbed spreadsheet layout, making cycling through them easier. Numbers helps speed-up things with formula suggestions as soon as you start typing and you can add your favorite functions to Quick Calculations for instant results. However, the new simplified toolbar gives you quicker access to shapes, media, tables, charts, and sharing options. There isn't much interface customization possible though compared to Excel. The interface has been is well organized and easy to use to anyone familiar with Microsoft Office will recognize the ribbon interface and has been given a fresh new look for the latest release.
